Ham and Potatoes

Nothing more basic than a simple ham and potatoes recipe! I made this last night for my boyfriend and myself, and it was delicious! Simple to make and only takes four ingredients.

Here's what you need:
1/8 lb of ham
2-3 potatoes (depends on how many people you're cooking for, figure 1 potato = 1 person)
Black pepper
1/4 cup of brown sugar

Preheat oven at 350.

Wash and dry your potatoes. Cut them into a large chunks. Be sure to leave the skins on them!
It adds a rustic aesthetic to it and it adds more flavor to the potatoes. Spray a large baking pan with cooking spray then layer the bottom of the pan with the potatoes. Sprinkle the potatoes with black pepper. Set aside.

Cut up your ham chunks then place in a mixing bowl. Once you've cut up all of the ham, take your brown sugar and pour it into the bowl. Using your hands, mix the brown sugar into the meat so that all the meat is coated in brown sugar.

Once all the meat is coated with brown sugar, place it on top of the potatoes. Do not stir! Cover the pan with aluminum foil and place in oven for 30-35 minutes or until potatoes are tender. Enjoy!
